GG's Treasure Hunt; Photo Documentation

"Geohn or GG as he’s called has got to be every parent’s ideal for a son. The nine year old Olathe boy is very polite and mature. He’s smart like engineering smart, loves school, math and even science projects! He’s a super fan who attends Kansas City Chiefs games with his dad. Favorite players? They are Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, of course. He’s an equal opportunity Kansas City fan who shares his hometown sports devotion with the Kansas City Royals too. If you listen you might hear his shout-outs to Salvador Perez and Carlos Santana. GG is a big-time gamer, too, as in Nintendo, Minecraft, Roblox. Gaming nerds would compete just to have him on their team. To top it off, literally, his larger-than-life favorite movie is Godzilla. In November something even larger than Godzilla crashed into the world of GG, his dad and his two younger brothers. A cancerous tumor, unusual for his age, was found on his leg and the cancer had spread. Doctors removed the tumor in November in hopes that he might walk again. Following surgery chemotherapy drugs targeted the cancer. But the cancer continues. To help him cope with this terrible disease GG watches treasure hunting shows on YouTube. He remembers the fun he had treasure hunting with his friend and a metal detector. Escaping from this cancer is going to be a monumental effort, bigger than Godzilla. Finding a cure is an even bigger hidden treasure which remains for now deeply hidden."
